Bebco Model EAC Hazardous Location Enclosure Air Conditioners consist of a self-contained chassis, protected by a seal-welded case.  480 VAC units feature a power transformer compartment under the unit chassis, which increases unit height approximately 6”-10”,as compared to their 120 & 220 VAC powered counterpart units.

Seal-welded cases are offered in NEMA 4 rated carbon steel material with an electrostatically applied epoxy finish and NEMA 4X rated 304 or 316 grade stainless steel with a brushed finish.  This range of materials and finishes provides dynamic options for a full range of installation site conditions, ranging from passive indoor environments to inclement outdoor and highly corrosive or offshore environments.

Units with NEMA 4 rated epoxy finish carbon steel cases feature galvanized steel chassis frames, and units with NEMA 4X rated 304 or 316 grade stainless steel feature matching grade stainless steel chassis frames. Upon special request, the chassis can be coated with Epoxy, Urethane, Heresite© or Luvata© corrosion resistance coatings, to further enhance their durability and life-spans.

 NEMA 4 Carbon Steel Cases
A fully seal-welded and epoxy coated carbon steel case provides ample protection in passive environments, where occasional wash-down and/or minimal exposure to a corrosive environment is anticipated.




 NEMA 4X 304 Stainless Steel Cases
A fully seal-welded 304 grade stainless steel case provides exceptional protection in periodically corrosive environments, where routine wash-down and/or exposure to a slightly corrosive environment is anticipated.




 NEMA 4X 316 Stainless Steel Cases
A fully seal-welded 316 grade stainless steel case provides superior protection in highly corrosive environments, where frequent wash-down and/or exposure to a highly corrosive environment is anticipated.

Hazardous Location Enclosure Air Conditioners feature seal-welded NEMA 4 cases in epoxy coated carbon steel for passive environments,  NEMA 4X 304 stainless steel for periodically corrosive environments and NEMA 4X 316 stainless steel for highly corrosive environments

Bebco's seal-welded cases provide three levels of protection for exposure levels ranging from
passive to highly corrosive environments, and they can be removed easily to gain access to the entire chassis!
