Advanced Condensation Control

All Bebco Model EAC Enclosure Air Conditioners include the following advanced condensation control features.
This system provides dual benefits by effectively eliminating the need for drain piping
under normal operating conditions, and increasing the unit's energy efficiency.

All condensation is collected and dissipated internally!
Advanced Condensation Control is achieved by passing a long loop of refrigerant tubing through a sealed condensation pan at the bottom of the unit. This tubing is pre-heated by extremely hot refrigerant gas as it returns from the evaporator, and ranges between 180°F and 260°F as it enters the pan.

The tubing boils all condensation as it collects in the pan; and the resulting vapor is dissipated by the condenser blower and discharged to the surrounding environment.

This process makes the unit more energy efficient!
As a reciprocal benefit, the gas within the evaporator coil return refrigerant tubing is passing through cold condensate, which pre-cools the gas before it enters the compressor. As a result, there is a measurable running amps reduction which in turn makes the air conditioner more energy efficient.

This advantageous design eliminates drain piping!
The condensation pan is carefully engineered and tested under extreme humidity conditions to ensure it has sufficient capacity to prevent any possibility of overflow if the enclosure doors are normally sealed, and opened only periodically for short periods of time.

Extended or frequent access is accommodated!
All units feature an emergency overflow fitting on the condensation pan.
As an option, a hose can be connected to the fitting to direct any overflow condensation to a drain or an area where it can dissipate safely and efficiently.

This option should only be required if the enclosure doors remain open for extended periods of time, or if the enclosure is accessed frequently throughout a normal workday. Otherwise this option will not be necessary even in environments that are saturated with extreme levels of humidity.
